What is the EMMETT Technique?

  • A safe and simple muscle release therapy developed by Remedial Therapist Ross Emmett
  • Useful to address pain and discomfort and improve movement restrictions 
  • A method that uses light finger pressure at specific locations to initiate the gentle release of tension in many problem areas such as neck, shoulder and back
  • A technique where results are usually immediate
  • Non-invasive and involves no drugs, massage oils, manipulations or high velocity thrusts

EMM-Tech - Self Help Course

The EMM-Tech Short Course:

  • Is designed for everyone to look after themselves and family and friends
  • Requires no previous experience
  • Is an 8 hour course, offered as 2 x four hour sessions or an 8 hour day
  • Is suitable for therapists as an ideal introduction to the EMMETT Technique
  • Is fun and easy to learn
  • Teaches you skills for life!

  • Is designed for the practicing therapist
  • Attracts complementary therapists, medical professionals and sports and exercise instructors, who are interested in extending their skills

  • Also welcomes undergraduates and non-therapists
  • Is an 11 day course
